AUGUST 17th-Join us on August 17th for a special service!! We will currently be baptizing 4 people, conducting 2 baby dedications, commission our children for the new school year, and to top it all off...we will have a church-wide potluck dinner after the service!! God is certainly blessing us at First Baptist. Don't miss the extra-special service!! November 3rd --The women of the Tanana Valley Baptist Association will meet at FBC on November 3rd at 7-9:00pm to celebrate the World's Day of Prayer. Bi-vocational Minister of Music/Youth Search Committee Formed --In our continual "preparation for rain", FBC has formed a search committee for a Minister of Music/Youth. We are now accepting resumes via email to the pastor@firstbaptistfairbanks.com. For more information, please contact the Pastor! Church Historian Named --The church has selected Melba Peterson to be our church historian. She will be forming "Scrapbook Parties" for others to pitch in and help document the history of FBC. I encourage everyone that has a piece of history, albeit photos, memories, old bulletins, or anything else, to contact Melba, historian@firstbaptistfairbanks.ipower.com or the Pastor. The Pulse of the Church--Join us as we take the pulse of the church! How healthy are we at FBC? Are we doing what we should be to fulfill all of our potential. Join us as Pastor Mark examines the characteristics of a healthy church and we give ourselves a "physical." Children's Church-First Baptist now has Children's Church during our Worship Service.
