Text Box: The 2009 Winter Youth celebration was hosted at First Baptist on October 16-17th. This year’s focus was on a Bible study written by Pastor Andy Stanley entitled Twisting the Truth. Pastor Jim Chambers and the Nathan Sam Band from the Open Door Church in Lafayette, LA truly blessed us with preaching of God’s Word and through their music.
Words such as, “the best ever” and “Wow!!” were heard numerous times over the course of the weekend. I know that there were lives given over to Christ and hearts that were touched. What more could you ask for?
